An apartment-size station...

Hey there! Welcome to my amateur radio station, VA1CM/VE1JMA, where I get to enjoy my love for communications and monitor the world from my apartment overlooking the city. Over the years, I’ve made the most of this small space to set up for both amateur and monitoring activities on HF, VHF, and UHF. My main HF station has an ATAS mobile whip and a V/UHF ground-plane, which lets me explore different frequencies while keeping things cool with my neighbors.
The station sports a full HF rig, a trunking and conventional scanner, a wide-band software defined radio and a V/UHF amateur radio. I also have a portable HF station and various portable scanners.
I'm fully committed to amateur radio emergency operations.
I've become a "keyboard" operator and use digital modes like PSK, SSTV, and FT8, usually running at a max of 50W to keep it respectful and fun for everyone!
